Notes

After Lloyd's mother (Nancy Emeline Mathews) died, his father, Robert Goodfellow, thought it was best for him to have a mother since he was so young.  Lloyd was sent to live in Parham, Ontario, with his uncle David Goodfellow and aunt Lucretia.   When Robert Goodfellow married Jane Hannah Bertrim in 1871, he contacted his brother to let him know that he wanted Lloyd back.  David couldn't part with him, and Robert allowed Lloyd to stay in Parham.
