In 1850, Isaac Morrical is
living with his parents, Washington and Mary Morrical, in Newcastle Township, Fulton County, Indiana.
He has two older brothers living with him. After Washington's death in
1858, the family split up. It is believed that Isaac became a ward
of the county, residing at the county's "poor farm" asylum. He would
have been about 12 years old at the time. In 1880, Isaac Morrical is
listed as an "inmate" in the county house run by Francis Jaysox in Polk
Towhship, Marshall County, Indiana. According to county asylum records,
Isaac was kicked by a horse on August 8, 1910 and died on August 9, 1910.
He was buried in the asylum cemetery, Row 6, Lot 2. His body was
claimed by his brother Finley. |
