had three unnamed children that died as infants. The
three infants are remembered on the back side of their gravestone.

Lovina wore this black dress with the lace collar in the
1930s.
|
Lovina lost her right leg when she was 35 years old,
and wore a wooden leg thereafter. According to
family lore, the incident occurred in 1903; she was
on top of the barn helping put on a new roof . She
fell and her injured leg had to be amputated below the
knee. She was pregnant with her son Peter at the time. |
