Charles Copke, Jr. spent his adult life in mental institutions. In 1910, Charles is living in the Kankakee State Hospital, Kankakee, Illinois. In 1920, Charles is living in the Kankakee State Hospital, Kankakee, Illinois. At some time, Charles was transferred to the state hospital in Manteno, Illinois.
Charles outlived all of his siblings, dying on December 28, 1960.
Charles is buried in what is now called the Illinois
Veterans Home
