as living at 242 S. Third Avenue.

In 1904, Nellie Clark is listed in the Kankakee city directory,
as living at 37 West Avenue.

In 1911, Miss Nellie Clark is listed in the Kankakee city directory,
as living at 37 West Avenue.

In 1913-1914, Miss Nellie Clark is listed in the Kankakee city directory,
as living at 367 S. West Avenue.

In 1915, Mrs. Nellie Clark is listed in the Kankakee city directory,
as living at 367 S. West Avenue.

In 1916, Mrs. Nellie Clark is listed in the Kankakee city directory,
as living at 171 S. West Avenue.

In 1918, Nellie Clark is listed in the Kankakee city directory,
as living at 367 S. West Avenue, as the widow of Horace.

In 1918, Nellie Clark is listed in the Gary city directory,
as living at 372 Van Buren, working as a clerk.

In July 1923, Nellie Clark's name appears in the Lake County Times
as living  at 432 Elm Street.  It is assumed the city is Gary, Indiana.

In 1925-1926, Nellie Clark is listed in the Kankakee city directory,
as living at 1410 S. Third Avenue, as the widow of H.J.

In 1927, Nellie Clark is listed in the Kankakee city directory,
as living at 367 S. West Avenue.  It says she provides "furnished rooms."

In 1929-1930, Nellie Clark is listed in the Kankakee city directory,
as living at 1410 S. Third Avenue, as the widow of Horace.

In 1931, Nellie Clark is listed in the Kankakee city directory,
as living at 367 S. West Avenue, as the widow of Horace.

In 1933, Nellie Clark is listed in the Kankakee city directory,
as living at 367 S. West Avenue, as the widow of Horace.
Her place of residence is listed as the "Parkside Hotel."

In 1935, 1937, 1939, Nellie Clark is listed in the Kankakee city directory,
as living at 367 S. West Avenue, as the widow of Horace.

In 1941, Nellie Clark is listed in the Kankakee city directory,
as living at 367 S. West Avenue.

After her death, Nell's body was placed
in a grand mausoleum in the Beaver
Creek Cemetery.  Rumors that the
 tomb held some of her wealth caused
caused vandals to break in an disturb
her remains.  In 1991, authorities removed her body and the bodies of other family members.  (The mausoleum is believed to have held the remains of not only Nellie, but also Carrie Benjamin Langan, Sylvia Wadley Smith, Arthur Clark, and Gertrude Clark Berchier.)   The deceased were buried in unmarked graves, and today the mausoleum stands empty.
