*Jane Schlicht is a sister to Mary and Lizzie (Schlicht) Willms; Mary married to Harm Willms, Lizzie married to Jacob Willms. Harm and Jacob are brothers to Jabo Willms. Jane was born at Tama County, Iowa and moved to Lincoln Township, south of Walnut, Iowa when a small girl. She grew to womanhood on a small farm there. After she married Jabo in Mississippi they lived there for about three years. They then moved to a farm south of Walnut, Iowa until approximately 1914 to1919 and then moved to another farm near Lewis, Iowa until moving to their last farm three miles north of Griswold, Iowa. Jabo settled on a farm nine miles south Walnut, Iowa upon coming to the United States in 1879 with his parents. The last couple years before he died he lived with his oldest son Bryan Willms near Lewis, Iowa.
