*Jacob was born in Germany and came to the United States as a small boy with his parents, and came to a farm south of Walnut, Iowa. He was baptized in the Lutheran Church in Germany. Lizzie was born on a farm nine miles southeast of Walnut, Iowa. Jake and Lizzie farmed south of Walnut until 1944 when they moved to Highland Addition in Atlantic, Iowa. They were members and poss. of Zion Lutheran Church in Atlantic, Iowa. Lizzie is a sister to Mary and Jane (Schlicht) Willms, Mary married to Harm Willms, Jane married to Jabo Willms. Harm and Jabo are both brothers to Jacob. |
